Chris Brown and Rihanna - Should we let it go?

Me personally. I don't understand why Rihanna staying with Chris Brown. I mean, it not as if she don't got her own money, career, married to him (i don't think she is anyway), and if she was smart she have her own house. So her reasoning behind calling the police on him then go back in to his arms just strike me as dumb. For some reason, I believe she attack Chris Brown first because he was fighting her trying to get her out of the car. However, It is just as believable that she gotten to loud with him and got up set and struck multiple times.

However, in both theories.....Chris still abusive and he probably more abusive in more than one way. Rihanna probably only fallen back for him because she is in denial. They probably fight verbal or physical to the point the some come to accept that no matter what she deserved it. Whatever it is she clearly has low self-esteem. Like you said, you can't help people who wish not to be helped. Simply because when you do you become the problem.

To be honest, I don't know if this story is even wroth paying attention to anymore and frankly I think it teaches children the wrong message by the police just letting him get away with something of this manner. It teaches young men that if they hit women they can get away with it...or even worst that it ever justified. Hell, It takes more balls to walk form a woman and than it does to hit one.

After all fighting is the same thing as crying. Only differences is how the emotion is expressed. To be honest all these celebrities going around making money off their public opinions all should be ashamed of themselves. Hell tell that to Rihanna not the public.

MY PERSONAL FEELINGS NOBODY IS PERFECT. CHRIS AND RIANNA HAS ALOT OF GROWING UP TODAY.A REAL WILL NEVER HIT THE LADY THEY LOVE. LOVE IS DANGEROUS , ALL SHE NEED TO DO IS WORRY ABOUT HER CAREER, SHE IS A NICE LOOKING YOUNG LADY SHE CAN HAVE ANY MAN SHE WANTS.

I think that we should care about the topic of domestic violence in general, but not get too caught up on particular individuals.

Thank you all! I definitely agree with everyone. Domestic violence is an issue, but we shouldn't use the example of Chris Brown and Rihanna as a way to address it. There are so many other women who are physically and mentally abused, to the point of being killed, so we don't have to focus on them at all.
